so today I practiced my skills at making wounds
I haven't made any since halloween time last year and tomorrow I'm doing a photoshoot with a friend and three of her friends, and more or less I'm going to make them into zombies but before I do that I wanted to make sure that I remembered how to do them! It took some practice to find how to make different types of wounds, but at the end of the day I think I got it down (with a little help from my airbrush machine for a base layer! sadly I only used the machine for the top picture, whicch is why it looks different from the other two). The top is a version of a bullet wound sort of (I didn't quite make the base layer dark enough to look deep enough) the second is a random wound sort of like a laceration and the finally is slits, which to me is the hardest to make I did this on my right arm, since I'm a lefty me modeling the effect: [link] Comments

wow. . . this looks fantastic! . . . i can't even begin to imagine how long it takes to make that!. . . . i would love to learn how to do that one day
this actually wasn't that hard at all, took about 30 minutes for me,
depending on what prducts you have (i use an airbrush, makeup colors, liquid latex, blood gel and some liquid blood) there are tons of tutorials online, each with different methods, you just need to play around with them, find products you like and steps that work for you i little tip though, it helps to put a dark red or purple on the skin before applying the latex, this way when you rip it the wound will look deeper -- Your Not-So-Ordinary Friend you should make a "Making off" xD
 I really like how you did these. The only critique I can suggest is with the bottom picture. Maybe blending a little bit around the cuts. Great job though ^_^
